Foil Ball - Third R20 000 Winner
We have our third and last cash prize winner for the month of JUNE, Charmaine Scott of Pinegowrie is the lucky winner! Congrats!! R20 000 is all yours!
All Entries for July and all the previous months entries now go back in the draw for the Main Prize, The CHANA BENNI worth R90 000! So keep on recycling and you could just drive away in a brand new car.
We are also proud to say we have gone over 400kg!!
The Foil Ball Campaign, first launched at The Brightwater Commons on Thursday 1st April, aims to create an awareness of recycling. Members of the public, schools and business are encouraged to support this initiative by bringing their used aluminium foil to the foil deposit point adjacent to the Woolworths store at The Brightwater Commons. Here, the used foil will be weighed, recorded, and then deposited into the giant soccer ball structure located on the grass area opposite the deposit point.
For every deposit of 50g, one can complete a Foil Ball Competition form for entry into a lucky draw.
The campaign will close on Saturday 31st July. Thereafter, the foil inside the ball will be purchased by Zimalco and the funds from the purchase will go the the Lehae La Tshepo Centre. This Windsor based organisation consists of an after-care centre and a support centre. The after-care centre caters for local children from disadvantaged backgrounds, whilst the support centre offers counselling in HIV Aids and trauma, provides food parcels for the needy, and offers skills development to empower the community.
Schools, businesses and individuals wishing to be part of this project or requiring further information can contact Winton Woodrooffe on 082 379 8760.
