Wow!! What a fantastic event

Halloween was enjoyed by all ages and the whole event was an absolute blast. Fun was had by both old and young and the costumes that were worn this year were absolutely fantastic............just look at the photos.

Reminder...

Well the clock is ticking and the time is almost upon us! The biggest event of the year is on Saturday and this is just a reminder to you to make sure your shop looks great - (Judges will be making their way past your shop on Sat evening) - you have enough stock and staff and retail tenants we urge you to trade until 7pm, as this is a very busy night it can be great for exposure for your shop!

To remind as well, the program for the the event also promises to be jam-packed and full of surprises, laughs and magic!
Getting back to our most FAMOUS event! Halloween 2009. This year being on a Saturday and also Currie Cup Final Day we have made sure that the whole family is looked after. Dad's dispair The BULLS will win (yes I am a Bulls supporter). With a big thanks going to Mulitichoise and MNET, the KTV presenters will be on hand to do the judging for the best dressed competition.

Very important, vouchers that you will recieve from customers has to handed in to centre managment by the 6th of Nov 2009. No Late vouchers will be accepted. ALSO NO PEDESTRIAN R10 vouchers can be redeemed only the R20 Brightwater Commons Voucher is eligible for redemption.

We are aware that you spend a lot of time and effort to make your costumes thus we have changed the judging policy, KTV is still the official judges of the competition and in conjunction with them we have done the following with regards to the judging process:

We will have fixed times for the 4 categories during which you will have to be at the designated KTV judging area. These are the only times that judging will take place.

• 16h30 - 17h00: Pre Primary Kids
• 17h00 - 17h30: Primary Kids
• 17h30 - 18h00: High School Kids
• 18h00 - 18h30: Adults.

The program for the rest of the event also promises to be jam-packed and full of surprises, laughs and magic!

• 17h00 - Trick or Treating through out the centre at all the tenants,
• 17h00 - Need some extra Scary Halloween stuff? don't miss the Halloween shop in the promo court.
• 17h00 - 19h00: Ghost house,
• 16h00 - 18h00: On stage a host of shows that include Magic Show, Ventriloquist and Puppet show and a Twilight Mime show and a contortionist Spectacular,
• 19h00 - Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist,
• 20h00 - Aiden Powers and the Twilight Zone.

Halloween - at 7pm!

If you are hearing stories about your best friends cousins wife who got up on stage and impersonated a chicken laying a square egg, you can be sure that "Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist" is in town.

The bilingual hypnotist with a penchant for jokes about Bloemfontein and the East Rand is as much a comedian as a stage performer in his own right.

Andre's success formula is always the same, he invites volunteers on stage, hypnotises them and then gets them to impersonate celebrities or react comically to various suggestions and because everything hinges on the audience no two shows are ever the same.

What makes Andre's show so special is that unlike imported reality entertainment like - who wants's to marry my dad - Andre's show is quintessential reality where the audience is the real stars of the show. And Andre will delight at Brightwater Commons Halloween evening with his eccentric humor and MIND boggling skills!

Aiden Powers have mesmerized audiences for many years and we are proud to say the he is appearing and maybe disappearing at Brightwater Commons on Halloween evening! From 8pm be prepared to be blown away and left in awe as Aiden takes us a magical ride that will leave the mind boggled and your eyes enticed!
