PRESS RELEASE: Brightwater Welcomes Ackermans

One of the stores that has recently opened at The Brightwater Commons is Ackermans. The store, which opened at the end of November last year, is set to trade from 9am to 6pm each day, including public holidays.

Says Tebogo Mabotsa (Divisional Operations Manager of Ackermans), "We are very excited about our new store at The Brightwater Commons. All of our staff members there, including our store manager, have come through the Ackermans Retail development programme - a programme that focuses on the training, career and personal development of staff in the Ackermans group".

The 542 square meter Ackermans store, located next to Woolworths on the lower level of The Brightwater Commons, will provide our valued customer with good quality merchandise in all departments, from toddlers to adults as well as shoes and financial services and textiles.

The new Ackermans is set to provide a convenient shopping destination for the Ackermans market residing around The Brightwater Commons.

In terms of "green" initiatives adopted, the store supports the recycling project undertaken by The Brightwater Commons.
