Louise Carver Concert at Brightwater - 6th December 2008
Fans of top South African R&B/pop artist Louise Carver can catch her on stage at The Brightwater Commons on Saturday 6th December from 5 pm to 7 pm. Accompanied by a live band consisting of guitarists, percussionists and a keyboard player, she'll delight audiences on the evening with a performance of some of her greatest hits like 'Empty Fantasy', which reached the number 1 spot on the National Top 40 charts, 'It Don't Matter, 'Impossible Love' and 'Harder Than I Thought', amongst others.
Louise will also be performing a variety of poplar carols that audiences can sing along to, like 'Silent Night', 'Dreaming of a White Christmas', 'The First Noel', 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and John Lennon's 'It's Christmas Time'.
Her performance will form part of this year's festive celebrations at The Brightwater Commons.
Louise is a rare musical gem. She is a classically trained pianist who has had extensive vocal training since the age 6. She has been writing songs on the piano since 11 years of age of age, and was signed to her first record label in South Africa at the tender age of 15 (Silver Tulip Music). She released her first single, 'It Don't Matter', at age 17, and followed it up with an album titled 'Mirrors and Windows' at age 18.
To date, Louise has performed nationwide and even visited the UK where she wrote and sang the song 'Play the Game' with Kenny Hawkes (British Deep House producer and DJ). The single hit the number 1 spot on the Belgium National Dance charts.
Her performance at The Brightwater Commons is certain to provide a delightful evening of entertainment for family and friends.
