Spooktacular evening a great success

What a fantastic way to end off the month! With an estimate of just over 34 000 patrons joining us on Friday, we are all sure you will agree that Halloween was very enjoyable. With performers through out the night -ranging from the chain-saw juggler to the fire show, K-TV presenters, the haunted house and the many restaurants to choose from all set and ready to scare, we can definitely say that it was a fun-filled night for the entire family.

We thank you all for joining us on this spooktacular evening; the kids looked fantastic (thanks to the Moms, Dads, Brothers and sisters for their creativity) and the adults who looked just as good as their children, which definitely showed through the competition for best dressed categories given by the K-TV presenters.

The 702 Concert (26 October 2008) was appreciated by all who watched and enjoyed as the Solid Gold Team entertained the audience with their great performances of the greatest hits and golden oldies. This was a fantastic way to end off a sunny weekend.

Also, thank you to the residents who have so far contributed towards our Green Initiative Project, which had begun on the 20th October. We have received great compliments, thoughtful suggestions and many queries which are always appreciated.

One of the main queries we have received is regarding the Woolworths and Pick n Pay area within the withdrawal section of your book; the first line (where Pick n Pay and Woolworths is printed lightly) is where the compulsory five stamps must be placed. You are not only limited to five purchases at Woolworths and Pick n Pay. You may also receive a stamp from the market place Management offices for purchases within the market.
