Christmas Market at Brightwater - 6th - 24th December 2008

The Brightwater Commons will be hosting a special Christmas Market in its promotions court. The market will open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December, Tuesday 16th December, and from Saturday 20th to Wednesday 24th December.

Here visitors will find a variety of speciality gifts and Christmas decorations - one of a kind quality hand-crafted items that are not available from general retail stores. Also exhibiting a selection of branded items and raising funds will be the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

Volunteers from the Avril Elizabeth Home will help visitors to wrap any gifts purchased.

Adding to the ambiance of the market at various times will be a variety of colourful roaming entertainers including a guitarist, carolists, penny-whistle and drumming elf. Children can also enjoy face-painting on selected days and times.
