Cool Classical Concert

Six-piece male ensemble 'G-string' will entertain audiences at The Brightwater Commons with true barbershop style singing on Sunday 27th August 2006.

The ensemble will perform a variety of well-known acapella favourites including 'Lemon Tree', 'Blackbird' and 'First of May'. They'll also include a few very creative arrangements of popular South African songs. The performance will take place on the centre's promotions stage from 2pm to 4pm

Audiences are invited to picnic on the commons as they relax to the melodies. Picnic baskets, containing a variety of delicious dishes, can be rented from tenants of the centre Cafe Galini (011 789 9900); Cafe Buongiorno (011 781 2284), Babylon Again (011 285 0946), Ocean Basket (011 886 4440), Mimmos (011 789 7197) or Darshan (011 789 8928). The mentioned tenants can be contacted for information concerning their picnic menus and the placing of orders before Friday 25th August.

Please note that whist picnic blankets, umbrellas and picnic chairs can be brought onto the commons; only food items purchased from stores in the centre will be allowed on the commons. No food, alcohol, picnic coolers or baskets may be brought from home.
