Don't worry about people watching, yoga is about balance - taking yourself seriously enough to give yourself the gift of yoga, but not too seriously that you can't express this in public! For beginners, a great not-so-serious place to start yoga - introduce a friend or your family! Come and stand on a mat and see what happens. You don't need to be able to touch your toes! The Haum of Yoga presents Yoga in Public SpacesThe Haum of Yoga is a place of yogic learning and community. We have decided to expand our community to embrace the unknown, by offering yoga in public spaces. Our first event will be on December 16th, The Yoga of Christmas: Give YOUR Self a gift this Festive Season, and thereafter, once a month at Brightwater Commons. We would like to see this grow into a weekly event! Demystifying yoga and making it available to the public is our intention. If you are curious about yoga but not sure about what it requires, or you have friends who are curious about why you do yoga, or you just want to try something 'weird' for a laugh, then come join us on the mat at Brightwater Commons.
