Little 'ghosts', 'goblins', 'witches' and 'vampires' can join The Brightwater Commons for a Halloween celebration on Monday 31st October 2005. Trick or treating, a dress-up competition, cave of horrors, piñata bashing and a kaleidoscopic carnival parade will form part of the exciting activities from 5pm to 8pm. Amazing feats by acrobats, blade runners and tightrope walkers will add to the evening's delight.

The fun begins at 5pm when children can collect sweet treats from tenants throughout the centre; enjoy bungee trampolines and face painting; play on gladiator inflatables; or be entertained by balloon makers. A cave of horrors featuring some scary characters is not to be missed and trick-or-treaters can delight in Piñata bashing from 6pm to 6:15pm in the promotions court.

Witness a fascinating display of human agility by the African Acrobats on the promotions stage (from 5pm to 5:30pm) or catch the Blade Runners in action as they swallow blades, and awe audiences with a combination of daring sword and escape stunts (from 5:30pm to 6pm). Whilst a slack-wire balancing act and chainsaw juggle on the promotions stage (from 6:15pm to 6:30pm) is certain to leave visitors breathless; the fire dancing performance from 6:30pm to 7pm is not to be missed.

One of the event's highlights will be a colourful carnival parade where visitors can join the likes of 'Dracula', 'The Mummy', 'Grim Reaper', 'zombies' and an array of other ghoulish characters as they march around the centre juggling, eating fire, drumming, dancing and playing music from 7pm to 7:30pm.

Halloween at The Brightwater Commons will culminate in the awarding of prizes for the best looking costumes on Halloween night. The prize-giving will take place on the promotions stage between 7:30pm and 8pm - so boys and girls come dressed to scare.
