Snow Time in Johannesburg

Approximately 12 000 people from all over Gauteng and its surrounds flocked to Snow Time at The Brightwater Commons this past weekend (Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August 2004). The awesome event gave many Joburgers, especially little ones, an opportunity to experience snow for the first time.

The event’s highlights included a 40m long, 8m high and 12m wide slope packed with snow, that visitors could bum-board down. Building snowmen and throwing snowballs at one another proved to be delightful for both young and old. Other activities included a bungee trampoline, climbing wall and target range.

Many visitors commented that the event would be an unforgettable experience .
